Organizational behavior (OB) is the study of how individuals, groups, and organizations interact and influence one another. Though it is largely used within the field of business management as a means to understand–and more effectively manage–groups of people. The reason businesses look to OB is because it can help organizations increase employee performance, while also creating a positive working environment.

Conflict management is defined as a process of making decisions and acting on them, in order to produce the best outcome possible under conditions of uncertainty.

Conflict is the disagreement or difference of opinions between or among individuals that can be potentially harmful to any organization. In the workplace setting, it often involves personal agendas, insights, or goals versus the agendas, insights, or goals of the group or team. Conflict management seeks to resolve the disagreement or conflict with positive outcomes that satisfy all individuals involved or is beneficial to the group. However, the perception of conflict is often negative.

In this 45 Hour Organisational Behaviour and Conflict Management Diploma level course, you will deepen your knowledge of the complex role and functions of management. You will learn from this course about the common causes of miscommunication and conflicts within teams and departments in organisations and develop effective managerial and leadership skills and strategies to address and overcome such challenges effectively.

Entry Requirements:                         Students after A/Ls and undergraduates in any field, Students of Business Management, HRM, Marketing, Finance, Psychology or Social Work, Biomedical Sciences, Medical doctors, nurses and other healthcare students or practitioners / professionals and age not less than 20 years, and Fluency of the English language is essential.

Course fees has to be paid in full by cash, cheque, credit / debit card or via a bank transfer payment.

Final Course Assessment / Evaluation

There are four (06) separate assignments to be completed at home and submitted to the IMH for evaluation. Once a “pass” grade has been achieved for all six assignments the Diploma in Organisational Behavior and Conflict Management and course transcript will be awarded to the registered student.
