It focuses on how children grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially and how these changes influence their behavior and development.

In this 40 Hour Child Psychology and Development Diploma level course, you will deepen your knowledge of the role and function of a child psychologist. You will learn from this Child Psychology and Development course about the common causes of childhood and adolescent problems and challenges, and develop effective parenting skills to address and overcome such challenges effectively.

Entry Requirements:                         Students after A/Ls and undergraduates in any field, Students of Psychology or Social Work, Law, Biomedical Sciences, Medical doctors, nurses and other healthcare students or practitioners / professionals and age not less than 20 years, and Fluency of the English language is essential.

The current 2025 all-inclusive Course Fee for new Students is as follows:

For Non-IMH Students: Rs. 40,000/-

For Previous IMH Students: Rs. 35,000/- (Discounted course fee)

For Overseas / International Students: USD $140

Course fees has to be paid in full by cash, cheque, credit / debit card or via a bank transfer payment.

Final Course Assessment / Evaluation

There are four (04) separate assignments to be completed at home and submitted to the IMH for evaluation. Once a “pass” grade has been achieved for all six assignments the Diploma in Child Psychology and Development and course transcript will be awarded to the registered student.
