A Free Public Seminar on Suicidology on September 09, 2023 will be held in commemoration of “World Suicide Prevention Day”. World Suicide Prevention Day is commemorated globally on September 10th each year. The goal is to help raise mental health awareness and each of us can make a contribution to ensure that people dealing with mental health problems can live better lives with dignity.

The IMH is pleased to once again organize a FREE 3.5 Hour Public physical Seminar conducted in the English language medium by Prof. Sir Romesh Jayasinghe, Ph.D.(Psy.) Dh.C.(Florida) FRSM(UK) FRSPH(UK) FACCPH(UK) FTBCCT(UK) on “Introduction to Suicidology – the Scientific Study of Suicidal Behaviour, the Causes of Suicidalness and Suicide Prevention” to be held on Saturday the 09th of September 2023 from 3.00 pm to 6.30 pm at the IMH premises in Colombo-04.
