Full Scholarship Program for Deserving and Economically Deprived Students

The IMH is pleased to launch the following “Full Scholarships Program” from January 2023 onwards to interview and select a limited number of academically deserving and economically / financially deprived or disadvantaged students who will become eligible to be awarded with a “Full Scholarship” for enrollment in the following courses at the Institute:

1. The Willhelm Wundt Memorial Full Scholarship Program

This course fee waiver Full scholarship award (worth Rs. 65,000/-) will be made to one deserving student with good O/L and A/L results from a financially deprived or disadvantaged family for each physical group class batch commencing from January 2023 onwards for the 72 Hours, 18 weeks Certificate Course in Psychology.

2. The Sigmund Freud Memorial Full Scholarship Program

This course fee waiver Full scholarship award (worth Rs. 52,000/-) will be made to one deserving student with good O/L and A/L results from a financially deprived or disadvantaged family for each physical and online (Zoom) group class batch commencing from January 2023 onwards for the 36 Hours, 12 weeks Certificate Course in Counselling & Psychotherapy.

3. The Jean Piaget Memorial Full Scholarship Program

This course fee waiver Full scholarship award (worth Rs. 58,000/-) will be made to one deserving student with good O/L and A/L results from a financially deprived or disadvantaged family for each physical and online (Zoom) group class batch commencing from January 2023 onwards for the 48 Hours, 16 weeks Diploma Course in Child & Adolescent Psychology.

4. The Elizabeth E. Farrell Memorial Scholarship Program

This course fee waiver Full scholarship award (worth Rs. 58,000/-) will be made to one deserving student with good O/L and A/L results and having a Diploma in Teaching or Psychology from a financially deprived or disadvantaged family for each physical group class batch commencing from January 2023 onwards for the 48 Hours, 16 weeks Diploma Course in Special Education.

5. The Lightner Witmer Memorial Scholarship Program

This course fee waiver Full scholarship award (worth Rs. 58,000/-) will be made to one deserving student with good O/L and A/L results and having a Diploma in Counselling or Psychology (or a higher qualification in Psychology) from a financially deprived or disadvantaged family for each physical group class batch commencing from January 2023 onwards for the 48 Hours, 16 weeks Diploma Course in Clinical Psychology.

The closing date for the self-nominations / application process for all of the above five Full Scholarship awards is the 30th of November 2022. The names of all the seven deserving students selected and awarded with the Full Scholarships for the above courses starting in January 2022 (five students for the physical group batches and two students outside of the Western province for the two online batches) will be published on this page by the end of December 2022.
